The Anatomical
Gift Account was
created as a
result of the
passage of
Assembly Bill
497 during the
2001 Legislative
session. The
Anatomical Gift
Account is a
funding
mechanism
derived from
donations that
will be used to
better educate
the public about
the vital
importance of
being an organ
donor.
When you apply
for a Nevada
driver's license
or renew your
existing
license, you
will be asked if
you would like
to donate $1 or
more to the
Anatomical Gift
Account.
The money will
be used to
purchase and
disseminate
education
materials about
how individuals
can give "The
Gift of Life"
through organ
and tissue
donation.
